Craven County ABC Board employs over 40 Associates at our New Bern, Bridgeton, Havelock, Vanceboro, and James City stores, Office, and Warehouse. Our Associates are neither state or county employees, but work at the pleasure of the Craven County ABC Board.  We provide and accept employment applications on a continual basis at our Office location listed below or at any Store location.

The completed applications are review and kept on file for a minimum of one year.  When positions becomes available, we reference those applications for employment consideration. Qualified individuals will be contacted and scheduled for a interview.

Background, reference checks, drug screening will also then be administered.

Current Employment Opportunities and starting Pay Rate

Sales Associate Part Time (less than 1000 hours per calendar year)   $14.56 per hour

Sales Associate Long Term (1000-1560 hours per calendar year)   $15.43 per hour

Warehouse Part Time (less than 1000 hours per calendar year-primary days Wednesdays, Thursdays & Fridays)   $17.07 per hour

Warehouse Long Term and Driver (1000-1560 hours per calendar year)   $17.91 per hour
